My favourite local beach in the southeast of sicily. It is a local beach. Not touristic stuff

Nice and quiet. The water is very shallow for about 20-30 metres, so great for paddling with children.

Beach for locals. Beach volley facilities and several beach bars. Beautiful snorkeling opportunities. Very crowded in high Summer (mid August), so a bit dirty. Cold showers for free.

We went to the beach here on a Monday afternoon early July. It was not too busy, clean, nice sand, unusually big waves (for Sicily… still way smaller than the Atlantic) but very shallow, there were free showers which was nice. Also yum and good value food at the lido.

Enjoyed this beach. Easy to get a parking spot and the beach had waves. Wasn’t too busy either.
